L'homme Du Moment

In 2009, the thirty one year old artist & architect, Nicholas Elias (pictured above) designed & created an installation, made entirely of a series of coloured perspex panels.  He named it 'The Geometry of Innocence'.  He entered the design into the 2009 Sculpture By The Sea competition, held annually in Sydney, Australia, Elias' native home, where it was so successful, it was selected out of five hundred proposals as one of three pieces to be showcased on Tamarama Beach.

I not only admire his design but also his talent.  Of course, you can't ignore his obvious good looks too.  I'm sure he will have more to offer us in 2012...Hopefully in the UK, as well as his native home.  In the meantime, you can check out his other work on his website & his blog.
